Carlos Hank Gonzalez
Carlos Hank González was born in 1971 in the State of Mexico. He holds a Bachelor’s Degre in Business Administration and a Specialization in Finance from the Universida Iberoamericana. He is the son of renowned businessman Carlos Hank Rhon and Mrs Graciela González Moreno.

Interactions: An early challenge
In 2000, Carlos was appointed CEO of Interacciones. He was barely in his thirties, but together
with his close team of collaborators, he already had a plan to make Grupo Financiero Interacciones
the best in its niche.
In an interview with Poder y Negocios magazine, he said: “We define ourselves as a niche bank.
We are specialized, and that makes us better. We are not a traditional bank, because otherwise we
would not be able to compete with the global giants that are returning to Mexico. Specialization
has led us to triple our revenues in just a few years. ” In 2000, Carlos was appointed CEO of
Interacciones. He was barely in his thirties, but together with his close team of collaborators, he
already had a plan to make Grupo Financiero Interacciones the best in its niche.
Carlos Hank
Since January 2015, Carlos Hank González has served as Grupo Financiero Banorte’s board chairman. Banorte has solidified its standing as the second-biggest bank in the Mexican financial system under his direction, and World Finance named it the Best Corporate Governance
Bank and the Best Consumer Bank. Carlos Hank serves as Grupo Hermes CEO and Gruma’s vice chairman.
